Delivery Routes

Deliveries are made to the following areas based on the frequency seen below. If you are not in the delivery areas indicated in the map, we do ship throughout Ontario (as of January 2022). Please note that due to an increased volume of orders, we can not guarantee delivery on a specific day - we will send out a notification about when you can expect delivery on the Sunday before your order will arrive. If you have any questions about which delivery area you fit into, please get in touch.

Common Questions

How do I know when I'll get my order?

You can expect to receive an email on Saturday or Sunday before your delivery with more information about the day to expect it and other pertinent details.

Can I still order through email or text?

Yes! If you prefer to make your order through email, text or call we will do our best to accommodate. If there is something we can do to make the online ordering experience better, please let us know!

If my order is less than the minimum order amount, what is the delivery charge?

For Routes #1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 if your order is less than $225 we will charge a $30 delivery fee. For routes 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10, if your order is less than $250, we will charge a $30 delivery fee.

For Routes 11,12, 13 and 14, if your order is less than $250, we will charge a $30 delivery fee.

For province wide shipping (through a courier), if you order is less than $250 we will charge a delivery fee of $30

What if I prefer to come to the farm or farm store partner to pick up my order? Is there a minimum order?

We encourage you to come to the farm for pick up if that works with your schedule. Please make sure you let us know in advance what you would like so we can have your order ready for you. There is no minimum order.

What if I'm not home?

No problem! You can either set out a cooler for us to place your order in until you get home or we can provide an insulated bag to keep it frozen for a few hours until you are home. We just ask that once you arrive home you unpack your items and place them in the freezer as soon as you are able to do so.

Who will deliver my order?

We work with a few local couriers and on specific routes, we deliver ourselves.

How will my order be packaged?

If you are on one of our delivery routes, your order will be packaged in a reusable freezer bag. We ask that the bags are returned when you re-order.  This helps us keep our costs down and reduce waste.

If you are in an area where we ship through a courier, your order will be packed in an insulated box (all materials are recyclable) with dry ice to keep everything frozen.

When will I be charged and how can I pay?

Because most items are charged by the pound we will not know your exact total until the order is packed. When you complete your order you will be provided an estimate of the final cost. Once your order has been packed and we know the exact weights of the items in your order we will send you an invoice that you can pay with e-transfer, credit card or cash/cheque upon delivery (payment by cash and cheque are only options for routes #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10).

Can I come visit the farm?

Definitely!  We encourage it! We'd love for you to come to the farm so we can show you around.  If you are planning on coming, please let us know in advance so we can make sure someone is there to show you around.  If you are planning to take an order home with you, please place this order ahead of time so we can have it ready for you when you get here.

Ordering Policies

Order Totals are Estimated

Because most of the items are priced by the pound, your final total may be slightly lower or higher than the original estimated total. Once your order has been packed and we have finalized the weights for your order we will send you a final invoice.

Payment Options

We accept payment through e-transfer, credit card or cash upon delivery (payment by cash are only options for routes #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10).

Short Stock Items

Please understand that Wild Meadows Farm is a small farm and not a large warehouse. We will do our best to keep items in stock, but if an item that you ordered becomes unavailable we will do our best to work with you to replace it with something else.  If this is not possible your fees will be reduced based on the missing item(s).

Order Deadlines Before Delivery

We ask that orders are made by midnight on the Thursday before your delivery.  This provides us enough time to pack your order and for our delivery partner to set his routes efficiently. Feel free to reach out if you miss the deadline or require delivery on a different schedule so we can coordinate with our delivery partners to get your order to you as soon as possible.
