Frozen Arctic Char Fillets from the pristine lakes of Baffin Island, Nunavut.  Harvested by the Inuit Fishermen of Pangnirtung. A true taste of the Canadian North.  Full size, 1lb on average.

Our Full Char Fillets are all wild caught by the Inuit fishermen of Pangnirtung, just off the coast of Baffin Island, in Nunavut.

All fillets are flash frozen during the winter harvest and within six hours during the summer harvest and remain frozen until purchase. To defrost; place the fillets in the refrigerator overnight and consume within 3 days.

Our Char fillets are best baked, grilled, bbq'd or pan-fried. Check out our recipes page for more ideas!

There are many species of Rockfish which are part of an edible by-catch that are caught with Halibut. Rockfish are a dense flesh which gets more tender with cooking. Best cooked in a pan at medium heat but don't overcook and dry it out. Great for a main but also an awesome fish for tacos. Works well for ceviche.
